In Australia (or ''Aussie-land''), they drive on the left, not on the right.
As mentioned before, light switches are flicked down for ''on,'' and up for ''off.''
And -- of the two major political parties, the Liberal Party is actually the more conservative of the two. (Labor is the more ''liberal.'')

Do the toilets flush in the opposite direction due to the Coriolis Effect, or is this urban myth?

"The Simpsons" notwithstanding, it [apparently] only works with extremely large bodies of water; in sinks and toilets, the micro-variations (not to mention the little blue clip-ons The Lady installs inside the toilet bowl) overpowers any Cor. f/x.
