Aussie terminology: threads, yarn

A possible minor point of interest: Here in Aussie-land, "cottons" are threads; "wools" are yarn.

Examples:

"I need to buy some cottons for my needlepoint."

"Hey, could you pick up some red wool so I can finish knitting my sweater?"

Still learning the lingo. :)
