Cooler weather

It has been warm -- bordering on hot -- the last few days. But we had a bit of rain on Thursday, and it's rained contstantly -- although to varying degrees of intensity -- since early evening yesterday.

The temperature is now a soothing 69 degrees F. indoors. Judging by Gye Green's rain bucket at the side of the house (he catches the rain, then uses it to water the plants), we've had two to three inches since yesterday.

Unfortunately, once the rain ceases and the sun returns, all the dampness in the ground will be heated, and thus converted to humidity! But, at the moment, it's rather nice. It reminds me of Seattle. :)
