Just took a better look at those links. The second article I listed (below) says they include They Might Be Giants as one of their favorite bands.

IMO, TMBG's first two albums -- TMBG, Lincoln -- are their most fun. YMMV.

Sure! Liking TMBG is a definite plus!!!
TMBG albums: Agree, though Flood is good, too. Somewhere in the middle (post-Flood?) of their output, they switched to working w/ an actual band, rather than just "two guys, a 4-track, and a drum machine." Good for the live shows -- but their songs weren't as quirky. I guess when you have a real drummer, not a drum machine, your drumbeats will be more "generic" -- and if you have a guitarist, bassist, then every song has to have a bass part, a guitar part... whereas before, they'd have tuba, xylophone, weird stuff.
But still -- one of the better bands around. Like the (later-era) Beatles, each song sounds unique -- yet catchy! :) (Like you and me, eh?) ;)
