Fun with brass

Usually The Lady watches The Bub in the evenings, while GG works diligently on his Dissertation. The exception is when The Lady has to do a brief task, which is when GG gets to play with her.

Tonight, however, The Lady had to run to the store. GG decided to break out the trumpet, as he sometimes does. Tonight, however, he also decided to break out the trombone as well! We had a jolly -- but pathetic -- jam session, the two of us -- much to The Bub’s amusement.

I am looking forwards to when GG finishes his Dissertation: He’s generally happy, but he seems even more happy when he’s had a chance to play some music.

Peculiar Gye Greene

When GG changes The Bub's nappies [diapers], part of his ritual is to place the clean nappie on his own, and/or The Bub's, head. Both he and The Bub find this highly amusing.

Last night I realized that not everyone would find this ''normal''. Perhaps it is because I, too, am open to wearing household items as hats that I did not realize this earlier.

A good motto: ''Most things can be a hat.''

Sweet Ralphie

Ralphie usually sleeps under Gye Greene and The Lady's bed -- but this morning I woke up to find him asleep between my knes, with his head on my thigh.

After a while, though, he got bored and wandered off.

Still: A very sweet dog.
